Yeah it's still visible inside. I'm pretty sure it was 35%, but not positive. Thanks

I was at first against it, now I love that I did it on the windshield and the doors. Did not go very dark, love the effects it has given

So... my car goes in for tint in a few weeks. I usually do 30% on the windows and 50% on the windshield. What is the consensus on tinting the panoramic roof?

Car is Firesand with the black pack.

Thanks!

You must live somewhere where it gets real hot,I did my windows 18% all-around and nothing on the windshield,I'd get popped here for sure if I darkened up the car by doing the roof,lol...!

Thanks, initially I had my heart set on the black pack option but as you said, the window trim does a great job of accenting the sweeping roof line and the body's curves, especially on a black car where they tend to get lost.

I was thinking the same thing. Does Jaguar have a parts catalog or any good online vendors? or should I just let the dealer handle this?

No,but they do offer nice C/F ones...I do agree that the chrome side vents really do stick out.

You could always wrap them in black...

Ross, if you want to switch out the power vents I would recommend you order them and do it yourself. I swapped my mirror covers, hood and power vents out for carbon fiber last week. The whole process took less than an hour. The power vents are easily pryed off with a trim removal tool.

The best prices by far that I have come across for accessories is: Genuine Jaguar Parts Online at Discount - Jaguar Replacement Auto Parts They are run out of a reputable dealership in Michigan.

For their best price, enter the part number from the accessory catalog directly into the part search bar.

Thanks! those prices are the best I've seen. From what I understand you can only buy the side power vents in carbon fiber. Kind of annoying since the black package gives you gloss black. It looks like I might end up wrapping my side vents to get that gloss look.

Tinting looks real good especially if mated with the Black Pack. IMO it does pose a serious safety challenge. When I bought my MINI from Texas (black roof on silver) it came with tint which looked real sharp. Two major problems at night: 1) I had to roll down the windows at night to parallel park (a literal pain in the winter), and 2) you can't see pedestrians when turning right across a cross walk at night. It was actually a relief to find that Big Brother Maryland was forcing me to strip off the film when I took it in for the safety inspection. SPUD doesn't look as good, but at least I haven't been charged with manslaughter.

Or did you mean Ultra-Violet?
