Default Windscreen

Does the windscreen really do anything other then make the visibility out the rear window horrible??

You mean the wind deflector? It does actually work. If you drive without it the wind buffering will be worse. I personally don't think it interferes too much with rear visibility. I have mine in place all the time.

Does it come off? Just kidding! I think it works pretty well, myself. Side windows up, buffeting is pretty low, even at highway speeds. It will have no effect with the side windows down. The easiest way to solve the visibility problem is to keep the top down at all times!

I just take mine off as it is easy to do when I have the top up. Put it on when top is down/

I haven't looked at how it comes off, is it easy enough to take on and off that frequently?

Yes, its spring loaded, you push down a bit and the top clip pulls up. slide it right out.
