Wing Mirror Removal - Any Guide?
Hi All,
I am looking to remove one of my wing mirrors for a repair and am looking for some any information on how to take it off. Also is it a pretty straight forward for the casual DIY / novice (will take it to a garage if not)?
Thanks very much
Dan

See section 501-09 (page 20831!) in this massive (480MB) document...

Note: you definitely want to turn on 'bookmarks' in your PDF viewer for that document.

It isn't very clear, but that section claims to have all you need. Refer to 501-05 to remove the door panel (that section is included immediately after 501-09). Unplug the two connectors, then remove the 3 fasteners, and slide the mirror forward.
I haven't done this, but that's how I read the document. They believe in pictures, not words.
