That depends on how much less you pay. In the end it's just an educated guess. If it's likely to be a wash, then I'd take the newer model year car. Of course, if you have to wait several months for the newer model year car, then it's not really as wash because you're giving up time. When the 2016's and 2017's are on the lot together, there will need to be a pretty big difference between the two in order to incentivize most people to buy the older model year. I'm thinking Jaguar will need to kick in a rebate of $2,000 or $3,000 to help the older cars along. However, Jaguar doesn't operate the same as most other manufacturers, so we'll see.

Option 1. As others have stated, the visibility issue to the rear of the car is significant and you can't just "use your neck a bit more than usual" because it's a huge blind spot IMO. I personally would not buy this model without it but I'm not one to take unnecessary risks.
