XKR remap and smaller pulley on a F type

Hi guys a tuner over here has done quite a few xkr's but no f types, now there saying the map is the same for both cars!!
Is this feasable!!

If it's a V8, why wouldn't it be? They're all the same engine.

That was my thinking but the xkr has been around for years and the coupe R for only a few months!!!
Surely the ecu's would be different, the gearbox's are!!!
