Default Xmas in July

Tightest bubble wrap I've ever seen. Geez.

Friday afternoon plans are now set!

Installation complete. Gave my disgustingly grimy wheels a nice washing while I was at it.

15 mm front 25 mm rear. Would've gone 25 all around but for concern of kicking up too much debris. Maybe moot since it'll happen anyway, but in the meantime I rather enjoy the look of the extra exaggerated stagger.
If 25 proves too extreme for my 295's I'll break down and get a separate set of 15's or 17's. That being said I don't quite go around bottoming out my suspension on the daily (never have).

No need to shave studs at the moment since the carbon blade wheels have very deep recesses. Will in the future regardless to accommodate winter setup.

Images to follow.

I've gotten most of the easy stuff out of the way.
Probably caliper painting next.

Would love to lower... but I already scrape at my work parkade. Ah! Solution! Quit!

Be careful not to bottom out your suspension with the 25mm adapters. You will wrinkle up your fender lips.

How big of a risk is this?

The 25s are only on the rear, and to my memory the last time I bottomed out was on a logging road in my Isuzu Rodeo (3 vehicles and 7 years ago). I was not gentle with that thing.

How much of a difference in suspension travel is there between the bump stops and the point where the top of the wheel is level with the fender lip?

If you accidentally drop a rear wheel off of a curb, the suspension travel will easily exceed the difference between the tire and the top of the wheel opening.

Don't think I've ever managed that either.

Of course, now that I've made that claim, Murphy's Law states that it's certain to happen!

Any more photos of the fronts from different angles? I also have carbon blades and only wanted to do 10mm spacers, but 15 and 17 seem to be more common. I don't plan to lower due to road conditions but would like a bit of stance. thanks.

It's a little tricky to find; adapters of the appropriate dimensions are listed under "Ford":

BLOXSPORT 5x108 CB63.4mm Forged 6061T6 Hub Centric Wheel Spacers [BLM Series] - $88.00 : BLOXsport Wheel Spacers, Aluminun 7075-T6 Forged!

I actually got mine through Amazon, however (same seller). The lug nuts are included.

I'll be sure to take some more photos tomorrow.

I don't think I'd bother with 10.
15 is nice.
17 seems pedantic to me given that they require custom order but to each their own!! No offense to the 17 crowd

Awesome, thanks for the photos. I have never been bashful about modifying cars, but now that I live in Indianapolis and not Florida, I have decided that I won't be lowering the car. My others that are lowered and "stanced" have had numerous issues due to road conditions including broken suspension components and cracked wheels. I think the car looks fine stock but would be enhanced by a mild widening of the track. My concern is pushing them out too far that it makes the wheel gap look more pronounced. I'm sure some will think it's ridiculous, but I might even go with 5mm hub centric rings if I can find them in black. I appreciate the photos and response. thanks.

Wow quite the difference there! Everything always looks so good fresh out of the box.

with 25mm spacers on the rear, I would be very surprised if this set-up does not rub when hitting a modest pothole or passing over a mild depression on any highway at 70+ mph. Hoping you don't find this to be true the hard way and do some real damage to the fenders.

I run 15mm spacers with 305 tires, which nets a 20mm spacing, AND I had the lips on the rear fenders expertly trimmed down by approximately 5mm for extra clearance, and I still get an occasional tire rub.

Well nothing yet. I'm pretty good at avoiding potholes, but I have gone over some significant highway dips at speeds exceeding 70mph (not gonna say by how much...).

I could be getting this close to rubbing though, for all I know. Two things: I only ever ride with suspension on the stiffest setting, and the 25s are only on the back (presumably less prone to big travel than the front?). That being said, I have to admit you guys are making nervous... might get another pair of 15s and reserve the 25s for winter, when I plan to run an otherwise square setup.

FWIW, I did find previous mention of a user going with 25 mm and 295/30/20 rears, reporting no rubbing: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f-type-x152-72/spacers-advice-216132/page2/
So confirmation bias was in full support of my purchase lol.
