1994 XJS Power Driver's Window Inoperative
Every couple of years I have to replace the window regulator sliding blocks because I have been unable to find the correct round ones and have to machine the available square ones (the fit is lousy and sooner or later they get destroyed). However, I can usually count one some noise and movement from the window and now I'm getting nothing (driver's side only, passenger side works fine). Between the maintenance manual and the Forum threads I still can't determine exactly where the window electrical components like the fuse, relay or thermal switch are located. I'm hoping the motor is not blown so I want to check these items first. Any answers?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide. Forum has been a terrific source of info for 3 Jags over the years.

You should post this in the XJS forums.
JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource will show you lots of good stuff. You should probably own a service manual too.
Have you checked the window switch? Just plug the connector into the roof or drivers side switch to make sure thats not the cause of your problem.

Thanks for the suggestions, Vee. I posted it in the XJS Forum yesterday and got a good diagram. I'll check the switch, too. I haven't bought a service manual in a few years; do you know a good source for Jag manuals?
