Hello: Can someone assist me with the proper method of removing the slider portion of the sunroof (moonroof) on a 2002 Jagaur XJ8? The headliner has been removed and is now recovered. Next I need to also reupholster the sunroof itself and am not sure if I need to remove the entire sunroof mechanism, or I can just remove the sunroof itself, leaving the mechanism in place and not distrube the water seal. I realize it is cable operated and yet can not see a way of easily disconnecting the cables from the sunroof slider. Any help will be great appreciated. Thanks, Philip
