Any suggestions?
2002 XJR lefty
I recently came across an ASC and TRAC not available error, going into failsafe mode i did a little research and everyone was pointing me to the brake pedal switch replacement idea, received it yesterday morning and had it replaced within an hour, sadly the error is still there. My brother in law is trying to get his code reader back from his friend and ill have more info but any ideas for now?
thank you for any help

Most code readers do not read the C codes where the abs faults are recorded. Some of the smart phone apps will do it, I think elm 327 with Torque, but I have a dumb phone and am not much help there. Many independent euro specialist shops can do so, then you can bring the codes back here for assistance.
That said, most abs faults are caused by the sensors at the wheels in need of cleaning, internally broken connecting cables due to flex, or the solder connection to the abs pump pins on the abs board failing.
It would be best to get the actual codes before spending more time and money trying to solve the problem by elimination.
