Fellow members,
My wife has decided she really wants to keep the 2002 S 3.0 she bought 14 years ago, despite the series of mechanical problems that have developed. The local Miami dealerships are too far and and too crooked (locals can guess which is which), and we have gotten poor results from the independent mechanics we have found.

My thanks to Jumpin Jag Flash (love the moniker!) for his suggestion that our fellow members might be able to point us to someone reliable, reasonably priced, and ideally, willing to let us source our own parts to not have to put his mark-up on them.

We're fairly far SW (Kendall) so someone in the South Miami/Pinecrest areas would be preferred (assuming nobody quite this far out in the sticks.)

I live in the Miami area and I'm looking for a trust worthy mechanic as well. Being young and owning a jaguar doesn't help when there's a lot of people trying to take advantage.

Hello - went to gable cats for a quote. Labour seemed reasonable, but parts I am being massively overcharged. not too happy..
