Default 2024 Oil Warning Top Up

Just want to see if people have had the same warning as me.
So I have a 2024 SVR, every 4000-5000k miles it asking me to top up a litre of oil. The electronic level gauge is a bit hit and miss and the car has to be on an absolutely perfect level ground. A slight angle either way will alter the reading.
Once the car is turned off, the warning clears.

I actually had the sensor changed as it was faulty.

But is it common to topping oil up in these types of cars. This my first performance car so it’s new to me.

20did99, it is not uncommon for a motor to use a quart of oil in 5K miles. If that is all that you are using, then that is considered "normal". With that being said, all 3 of my Jags (03 X-type with 3.0L NA engine, 12 XJ with the NA 5.0L engine and 16 XJL with the supercharged 3.0L) burn well under a 1/4 quart every 7500 miles. This is where I would be looking for signs of external leakage first and then go from there.
