I am doing a transplant of a 4.2 in place of the 4.0 engine as the latter has no outlived it's life. I bought a sub assy plus heads but have noticed that the piston tops are not machined to clear the valves as is the 4.0; is this correct or have I got get them machines? I would hate to do all the work and then bend a valve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
