Default 6 years old gas in the tank.. crank no start..

Hello hello! I parked my 98 xjr 7 years ago coz I found out that one of my timing chain glide cracked. Finally found time and finish full timing tuneup including spark plugs.

Now I'm trying to start the car after 7 years with the same gas what I had in the car when I parked.(I did put additives when parked) It did hesitate for a second but thats all...

. I can hear fuel pump and injectors but no start..

Need help. Where to start. ☹️☹️

Give it the best chance - drain the tank, put some fresh fuel in and bleed it through to the rail.

Ditto. I've been known to pop a fuel line off and jump out the fuel pump relay so it pumps the old stinky stuff out. Then give it 5 gallons at a time of good stuff so it can make the sediment solvent again a little at a time. Might also need to change the fuel filter if the old stuff was really rank.

Thanks! Exactly !! I about to replace fuel filter and now it's okay to jump the relay, but then how to leak the line going towards injectors?

You could drain it at the schrader valve on the fuel rail. Same spillage precautions as for changing a fuel filter.

I already broke both of my engine mounts, now I'm not doing anything without a good advise, thanks guys.

Btw is it ok to jump fuel replay and bring the tank to run dry then refuel it with the new one? I don't want to damage the fuel pump by running dry, coz that would a messy job

It's similar to contaminated oil. You are going to get as much out of the engine as possible and then change the oil after a short amount of time. Ideally you want to dilute the bad stuff with the good until it doesn't matter.
