this is the second time its hapened. About 2 or 3 minutes driving, this amber light come to flas and after that, stay on. Idrove the car 7 or 8 times and nothing hapehed. Today its gave me the same anxiety . I didnt drive the car for 3 months (parked in my garage at 70 Farenheit inside the garage). The car are a xj8 vdp 2004

 

Vanden, when the Airbag light flashes, count the way the light flashes. It shouldn't be a simple on-off, steady flash. It should flash a few times, pause, flash a different way, pause, flash the same way it did the first time, pause, flash the same way it did the second time, pause. The number of flashes will relate to a 2 digit number. Tell us the number and that will help narrow down where you problem is.

 

here the results; the amber's light flash 8times, pause, 8 times, pause 9 times, pause 9 times, pause, 9 times, and still on after that. I drove the XJ8 3 times in the same day. The second time, nothing hapened but the last day, its began flashing again.
