First time poster, I never post because the search bar usually solves all my problems.. I left the battery in my 2011 XJ disconnected for about 5 days and now I'm assuming the KVM(Keyless Vehicle Module), and a CJB(Central Junction Box) aren't communicating anymore... I assume the DCM(Door Control Module) is fine because all three of my key fobs can lock and unlock the car, and keyless entry still works... but none of them can turn the car on, or start it...

Before you ask yes I have held the fob(s) below the dash trunk/boot release, and tried fresh key fob batteries.. Also replaced all KVM related fuses, and checked the battery voltage..

I'm hoping someone mobile can come out because my sunroof and front windows are down, and if I get it towed to the dealer, bad weather could make a bad situation worse...

 

Have you tried calling, or visiting a Jag Dealer, and asking them if they could recommend a mobile tech? I’ve gotten some great contacts from them, just by asking who they use.

 

no, not yet, I just discovered the problem yesterday... going to give the dealer a call tomorrow, and see what solutions they offer..
