Default best wiper fluid for warm climate (Miami)

Hi, have to add wiper fluid for the first time to my 2021 F-Pace. I'm in Miami, used to using the antifreeze type in NY. Anything special I should be using for the warmer climate? Thanks and Happy New Year!

I'll leave it to US members to recommend fluids available in your country but whichever you select, buy plenty. I thought the reservoir on mine must have a hole in it and checked the specification. The capacity is 5.65 litres / 1.49 gallons (US).

Thanks Graham! Guess that's why I haven't had to fill it until now! Have the car for 6 months or so! Thanks for the heads up!

Debernella, there is not a lot of difference in wiper fluids for what you are after. Mainly you are using it as something to help float the dirt off. You can practically make your own via a gallon of water and say 2 ounces of a quality dish soap. now, where I find a difference is in what you apply to the windshield itself. I have found that getting yourself a ceramic wax and applying it to the windshield makes a big difference. I happen to use a product called "Shine-On". You apply this to the windshield every 2 months and you will find that in gentle rains, you will not need to use your wipers as the rain will just flow right off of the windshield. I find I get better wipes when I do need the wipers. This will also cause not as much dirt and whatnot to form on the windshield, reducing the need to clean the windshield.

Thanks Thermo! I will try the "shine on". What you are saying makes sense. I was having a problem with my wipers juddering for some reason, coating the windshield will probably help with that as well! Thanks again, happy, healthy New Year!
