Borescope recommendation
I have a 98 XJR with a coolant leak under the supercharger and i am unable to see it with a flashlight and mirror. So i was looking into getting a borescope/inspection camera to be able to see where it was leaking from so i replace the correct part.
I am seeing most scopes have 640x480 imagers and 320x240 displays yet the prices vary greatly from $150 to $250 USD. Various features that add to the cost being recording, playback and removable SD-Card. I am not sure i would use these features for auto repair. The inspection camera head varies in size greatly between models as well.
Could people who have used a borescope offer some advice on what features to get and what manufacturers are preferred?

Tyson, I use a boroscope at work. The key features I would be looking for is a boroscope that has a light on the end of the stick, one that has controls to allow the very end of the probe to be bent and turned as needed, and to get something with about a 6 foot reach. A lot of the other stuff is nice if you are needing to record what you are doing or other "professional" things. You may want to check into seeing if you can borrow one from a local store or something of the like. Lowes/HOme Depot or your local auto parts store may allow you to free rent a tool like that. Then you can get a feel for what features you like and don't need.
