Carburetor ID- Daimler Conquest?
Hi everyone
I'm new on here and said quick hello earlier but I am looking for some help identifying these carburetors. I picked them up in a sale, someone mentioned they were off a mk2 but I doubt they are having done some research.
Anyway here in UK there is a major supplier of SU carb parts, I rang them but they can't identify what vehicle thy came off as the id tag is missing some digits.
All that there is are the numbers '816'.
They guy at SU thought it may be AUC 816 which would make the vehicle they came off a Daimler Conquest 2.5
He's sure they are HD 6 and they are 1 3/4 inch.
Has anyone come across these before? Its bugging me not knowing what they once belonged to.
Cheers
