Default Chassis

Up to what model/year did Jaguar run full chassis, ie not monocoque.
I have a 1936 Rolls Royce body that I need a chassis, and I was think Jaguar as it is quite long. I don’t mind having to shorten or lengthen a chassis if I must, but would rather find something close in wheelbase, I’ll have to measure it... Anyway, I was thinking it would be nice with a Jaguar V12

AFAIK the MK1 was the first Monocoque car so any that predate should have a chassis of some sort.

All the large saloons Mark VII to IX, the XK sports cars, and the Mark V, (there was no Mark VI) are chassis cars.

The compact saloons (Marks 1 & 2 and derivatives, Mark 10 and 420G, XJ, XJ-S all are monocoque
