Default JTIS Download

Brand new member here - have no idea what I'm doing but know what I need and hope you can help me - just got myself a wonderful 2003 S-Type R Cat with almost all the goodies - most of which seem to work at the moment but just in case we run into problems, or in order to avoid problems, we think we should have a workshop manual. We're Jag folk from way back - almost way back - a l50S drophead was the first, then the E type, the 3.8 sedan for the kids, back to the V12 E and when money became a problem (university and stuff) we switched to Dodges and Fords, but we're back in the saddle again and willing to take on the big Cat with all her built-in problems and incredible beauty and breathtaking performance and handling. Yep, we're in love with Cats again and we need a workshop manual or that link of yours and would be ever so appreciative if you could help us out here, hopefully before we have to take the Cat to the Vet (i.e. the Jaguar dealership).

Hi,
You have sent me a link few months back but I was never able to install it.
It was giving some sort of error which I associated with Windows Vista, Now that I am using Windows 7, I would really appreciate if you could resend me the link.

Thank you very much.

AJ

Default JTIS Download

Dear Christo, Thank, you, thank you, a million times thank you - I think. Wow, what a lot of information - way more than I expected. I'm the new hero in our household as hubby now thinks I have finally mastered the computer. Really LOL. No excuses now for him to screw-up the car maintenance and trouble-shooting. My son did the download however and it went very well with no hitches. Thanks again, really appreciated - hopefully this will prevent a lot of vet bills. gr8cat

pm's sent.

super_jag, you may have just got a bad download. Try it again and unzip it with winzip just to be safe. It will error out if there is a problem with the download. Post here in the forum with you results so everyone can benefit.

Thanks for the kind words!

Christo

It will not install on Windows 7, I think there is a path that the JTIS is looking for that no longer exists. On the XP machine, uninstall everything and reboot. Install winzip and see if you get any errors on extraction. If so you need to re-download the files, sorry. If it extracts, post the error you get on installtion.
