Cristo, if you need any help with the computer stuff, let me know just happens to be what I do for a living... any help is greatly appreciated.

Trying to trace a short in the charging system, alternator is fine, putting out 15, but only getting 9 to the battery.

I'm looking for a better place to host the JTIS files - can you think of anything that is free?

Christo could you do me a favor and look in your JTIS file and tell me where the IAT sensor is located? a diagram or pic would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Cool

GreenHornet - there isn't any pictures of the location of the IAT SENSOR. However there is a vast amount of trouble shooting of the circuitry between the maf, iat and the ecm. You really should download the JTIS and follow the steps. It practically holds your hand and has steps like:

Check voltage at pin 6 of maf - if voltage is x, go to step if less than go to step y and try something else. Maybe you can follow the wires from the maf, seems from searching the forum it is behind the maf sensor near the back of the mortor - but nothing pin pointed it. I'll pm you a link with my phone number - call me and we can go thru this together.
