Hi there,
As a recent owner of a new to me F pace i am trying top get the in control set up.
However the previous owner (EE from what i can tell) did not remove the car from their account.
Is this a dealer job? if so what does it entail does anyone know?

Ok so i posted the above after hammering the keyboard and reading about all the frustrated people having no joy sorting this.
I rang my local dealer Charles Hurst (spit) previous dealings aside and all the stories i have heard, they were very helpful.
They just need me to call with proof of ownership and said its a 5 minute process to remove (me?!?!) from the account. i take it he meant previous owner.

i will let you know if there is more to this

 

Ok i seem to be al set up - logged into my account and my car is there.Happy days.

It didn't take the sales guy much - I didn't see his screen but it makes sense and felt like ( from the questions he asked) he just did the same thing only with an admin account.
And i have a month left on the previous owners subscription so i can see what it gives us.

 

Yep, it took my dealer about 15 minutes. I really only wanted the remote start, and with the 6MT Jaguar stupidly didn't include that, so honestly it was a fruitless endeavor.
