Hi,
surfing on internet, I found some sites that helped me to define which part numbers can be mounted on my E-Pace.
For example, regarding ACC radar, I found that the correct part number is J9C3704.
If I see directly on the component I can't find this code but J9C3-9G768-AB and not J9C3704.
Where can I find *** these corrispondences regarding Jaguar parts numbers catalogue and the parts reported on the parts?
Here you can find an example: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/387624313677
Zetec, if you use J9C3-9G768-AB, this actually breaks down to a bit more data than you think. The J9C3 actually will tell a tech that it came from an E-Pace (will actually tell them a generation of the vehicle that it came from). The part number is the 9G768. This is where you can do some cross referencing and you may be able to find another jaguar that uses this same part (will have a different beginning 4 numbers). The final 2 letters (the "AB") tells the revision number of the component/computer. This is especially helpful with computers as the different years will have different revisions and this may help get you something that will work for your car or rule out something that will not.
In this case (and you are going to be blown away by this), this part actually cross references to a part used in Ford/Lincoln cars. So, it is very possible that you can expand your search and get a part from one of these other vehicles (saw that it was used in F-150's and the Lincoln MKT). Now these had a revision number of AD, so, that may affect things.

Hi Thermo, thanks for your reply. I understood the part number coding that include reference model and revisions, but how can I find a corrispondence between the code that I can find for example on https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/ and the part number reported on each part?
Example is as reported above J9C3704 reported on https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/ and J9C3-9G768-AB on the part, many thanks
Luca
Zetec, the only place that I am aware that you may find this cross reference is in a book that a lot of auto recyclers have. This book will cross reference the part numbers (the J9C3-......) with the manufacturer codes (the J9C3704). This book will also give the cross reference over to other manufacturers that use the same part, just under a non-jaguar number. Where you would get this book, I am not sure. Looking, I am finding references to what is called "interchange parts software" which is sounding like what you are after. Now, how much a copy of this software runs, who knows. Seems like some companies are putting it out there for people like us to use, but the few that I tried didn't seem to cross-reference jaguar stuff. This is why I tend to use the longer number as that will normally get you a part that will work as long as you stick close to the part number and version.
May I also suggest (at least for us down under, but I suspect elsewhere), backing it up by including your full VIN to your parts supplier . . . as many can use this to ensure you get the correct parts for your specific vehicle . . . ie model variant, engine, transmission etc . . . unless, of course, any have been changed since manufactured spec.
It's kind of changed over the years. We use to have the Hollander Interchange Manuals. These were very thick books every junk yard had on the counter.
Last one I see is the 65th edition that came out around 1999.
They still are in business but it looks to be some kind of electronic service now. I think the 65th edition was the last printed version. It's been many years since I have looked in one so not sure how the coverage is for later model cars? Or if individuals can get access. Hollander Interchange Manuals

thank you, so I need to make more cross check between parts and cars to find the right parts for my e-pace

Best wishes,
Thank you, I have this type of problem when I try to find the correct part compatible with my car, on which, for example, I want to make a system retrofit so, with my vin number, I'm not able to verify which version of ecu I have to use because...my car wasn't born with the component that I want to retrofit

very interesting, here in Italy I had never seen this type of manual! It seems to be very interesting, I could pass a lot of time on it!
You should consider getting and installing JPART.
This is free from a great guy who developed it just for the JEPC.
Here is the thread. JPART
Next you need the JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog). This is exactly the same thing as the dealers use and is very useful. JPART had to be developed because Flash Player became a security issue and MS deleted it automatically from everyone's machines. Now JEPC still works but no pictures. Which made it useless.
Here is the very long running thread on getting and installing JEPC. JEPC Install
The download links I posted only last a short while. So if you want JEPC V18 (This was the last version released) post to that thread and I will upload JEPC again.

Here is what your looking for. This is all from JPART. Jaguar does all part numbers based on the last 6 digits of your VIN. So when looking for parts be sure and include that with your car details.
Now looking at this part it does not mention any VIN's so the same module is used on all E-Pace.
Here is the part number;
You do have the correct part number so keep searching for that.

Many thanks, if you can upload it again, I can appreciate, in the meantime I will study the threads to understand how to install them.
Thanks!
Hey good morning!
No problem and I will upload V18 JEPC.
Ok just got it uploaded. I also put this link on that long running thread. JEPC V18

Thank you very much Kevin, it works, using Jpart! Laptop with Win 10
Coming back to the front radar: ok, it seems that for all the E-Pace the only part number is J9C3704, but, so why on ebay I can find the part number J9C3-9G768-AB for E-Pace MY 2017-2020 and part number MK72-9G768-AG for E-PACE MY 2021-2024?
Many thanks

Hey Luca. I don't know but if you post to the forum for your car you will have better results.
But since they show different years I think JLR made some changes after 2020? Also note the source? Ebay is full of junk yards and they only know what's printed on the parts. They don't do any research. You need to check any part number using a JLR web site and the last 6 digits of your VIN. BUT again it seems that they are all the same. Now I do see they have superseded the part number I posted above. This is another reason to ALWAYS check part numbers against your VIN!
That new part number 468000001 is a very strange number for JLR but note it covers all 2018-2024 models.
And WOW what a price!

Hi Clubairth1, thanks, yes, it's better to ask into specific model forum. At which JLR site are you referring to consider also my last VIN number part?
In the meantime I retrofitted the blindspot system on my E-Pace!
