Bought a 2015 F-Type R. The factory warranty was out in June. Anyone purchase a warranty from Jaguar? Any better ideas?

Hi, I bought the extented warranty, mixed results. They replaced door locks under warranty, but anything other seems to be wear and tear so not covered. For me it was probably a good buy bacuase the cost of replacement locks was more than I paid for warranty.
They also did heath check and found oil seal on rear diff weeping, so replaced that under warranty. But find warranty very limited.
