I changed the radiator water and I'm trying to get air, but I haven't succeeded yet. Does anyone have any knowledge on this subject?

Welcome to the forums habilben,

Basically it's slowly fill the reservoir to the neck and open the bleed point to allow air to escape. Where the bleed point is located depends on the engine variant ......

This a a model specific question and should have been posted in X260 forum. As you haven't posted an Intro the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum, please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

First of all, I would like to apologize for this. I went to the authorized service yesterday and was told that the air would come out automatically. After filling the water and driving for 20 minutes, he told me that I had to top up the missing water, but my vehicle is still getting cold air. As you said, there are 3 valve bars, these should be for this, which one do you think I should open and let the air out?

Which engine is this?

All the air will not come out automatically. That is the reason for a bleed point. I've taken the 2.0 litre petrol engine cooling system as an example here but you will normally find the bleed point is at the highest point in the cooling system hoses.

Be careful releasing the expansion tank cap if the engine is not completely cold or hot coolant can be forced out under pressure.

Air in the cooling system is removed at the bleed point on a coolant hose in the engine compartment, not one of the air vents.

Just a suggestion but with as hard as it is to bleed these cars and indeed most any modern car consider using a vacuum filler?
I recently got one and I do have a different car (2014 XJR 5.0L) but the ease of use and how well it works make this well worth the money (About $50-$70).
I pulled a vacuum on my car held it for 30 minutes then let the vacuum suck coolant into the engine.

This is ONLY time in decades of doing this kind of work where it was one and done! After a week or so I did top up the degas tank a bit and that was it.
Still can't believe it works so well and that I waited this long to get one!!

I think all commercial shops should have one just because of the time savings? I really can't believe the dealers are not required to use one. It would save a lot of back and forth with customers.
