Can anyone please tell me how to remove the motor that raises the gear selector in the rotary gear selector in a Jaguar Model year 2017? The complete unit is labelled as part 160201-01 and is available as T2H39457. I have taken the unit apart but could not remove the circular motor at the lower end of the unit. There seems to be a plastic lock that is fixing the motor to the spindle used by the rotary black selector shaft. I have been unable to remove this lock with simple side pressure and would like to know how it can be released. I enclose a picture with the lock arrowed.
