Default Looking for advice on purchase.

I am new to the forum so please forgive me if this is in the wrong area. I need to make a decision on which Jaguar to purchase so I am looking for some guidance as I have never owned a Jaguar. My 3 choices are 2010 XFR with 43000 miles $44k, 2011 XJ Luxury/Drivers Assistance Package (wife's preference)$44k with 42000 miles and a 2012 XF Premium with 9200 miles $40k.

Please help!

Are all three cars certified? If so, I think it's just a matter of preference. If you want performace, go with the XFR. The XF Premium has the advantage of more warranty remaining, and the fresher looking nose. If luxury is what you're after, you can't go wrong with the XJ.

No matter which you choose, you will be making a great decision.

Thanks for the advice. All three are certified and in excellent condition which makes the decision so difficult.

A very tough decision, indeed, but a good decision to have to make! Welcome to the forum, fellow newbie!

The XJ is the better car, but it is hard to argue against one with less than 10k miles. Must have the V6 engine. Did you drive each?

As I see it, this is how I would decide (like was mentioned, all 3 are good cars):

You want something to cruise the highways with in luxury - XJ
You want something to have fun with and smoke the tires some - 2010 XFR
You want something to have fun with and save a little bit of money - 2012 XF Premium

Otherwise, you are looking at very comparable cars and the differences are going to be very small. Me personally, I would say to go with the XJ as there are not too many of them on the road and it will make just that much more of a statement. They will all be more than powerful enough to get done what you need done. Just the XFR will be a bit more fun to drive if you like pushing the edge of stuff.

Congratulations.

As a Jaguar owner, now you can add vehicle details to your Signature.
