Love my Jag. she's getting up there in milage (141k). Things are starting toscare me. I would like to do the work onher , but I'm notmechanically good at things.Everywhere I
take her $$$$$ THATS WHAT MECHANICSTELL ME. I don't know who to trust.Is it possible for me to do some of the work ie.. springs ,shocks, tune-up. I need guidence in thismatter. My fiance' wants me to get rid of car...thinking about getting rid of her(my fiance' ofcourse) .

 

kats98, welcome. What kind of car do you have? Just about anything on these cars can be DIY. Get you a good service manuel, preferrably the factory service manuel. 2nd best would be the CD service manuals from various locations. Then, start asking questions, and pick the minds of anyone on this list thats willing to help.

Could anyone give me the proceedure for removing the door panal. The driver side front. I need to replace the door glide. Remember I'm not technical, but willing.
