MY17+ CCF Edit
I can't answer with certainty if CCF editing is possible on MY17+ but if it is then it's most likely to be via Pathfinder which is JLR supplied software for MY17+ models. Pathfinder replaces SDD for working with later models
Reach out to Cambo here on the forum.
Can't help with the original question I'm afraid but if you can do older vehicles do you know if the CCF can be used to disable the seat belt warning chime? I would love to kill this on my MY14 F Type....
thanks in advance

Interesting that you got Pathfinder up and running?
I heard it replaced SDD and sometimes I have seen it called SDD2.
I have a working SDD can you tell us what is needed to get Pathfinder up and working for a home guy?

It is only the Chinese sellers that seem to call it SDD2 it has nothing in common with SDD it doesn't even support the same vehicles even though they seem to say it does. I have tested it on a MY17 XE and it would not recognise the vehicle.
Pathfinder is the new software that JLR introduced in 2017 for all vehicles that use the DOIP (Diagnostic over IP) interface. If you are working on a MY18+ vehicle then you will need a suitable interface either the JLR Bosch DOIP, the DA-DOIP from Diagnostics Associates and there is another one from flyOBD but I'm not sure whether this is just a chines copy of the Bosch one. There are Chinese copies of the Bosch one although not 100% copies.
You would need a laptop running either Windows 7 or Windows 10 X86 or X64 then just download the installation program from Topix http://diagnosticdelivery.jlrext.com...Updater_v2.exe run this and it will install the connect application which will then install pathfinder. Install the drivers for the relevant interface and you are ready to go. You then need to create an account on Topix at https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topi...cle/lookupForm you can then select register.
There are hacks available to avoid paying a subscription for module programming, Pathfinder doesn't offer full CCF editing as SDD did with cracks but I offer a standalone application for that purpose at £100.

Does Pathfinder drop back to the legacy software so you can use it on earlier cars?
The SDD will fall back and automatically start WDS/IDS if the car is not covered by SDD so it's still good for all the prior Jaguar models.

No if you try an unsupported car it tells you to use SDD although I now have the two on separate platforms since upgrading to Windows 10. I have Pathfinder on Windows 10 64bit and SDD on Windows 10 32bit I had horrendous problems trying to get SDD working on 64bit Windows. SDD will tell you its a legacy vehicle if you attempt to connect to a newer car even if you are using the DOIP interface.
Thanks so much for your detailed reply's!!
Just a note but I have SDD working perfectly on 64bit Win7. Also getting all updates as I stay connected to the internet. I am still getting them but waiting for that to stop or error out.
I was told not to do either of those things?
Looks like for my 2014 XJ I can stay with SDD.

The only niggle I have found with SDD is that it is a lot less tolerant of Battery Voltage, fir doing things like putting brakes into service mode I still had to have the battery at 12.75V whereas on Pathfinder I could do it at 12.1V which meant on the XE I did the brakes on the other week I had to connect up all of the battery support stuff as it would not let me put the handbrake into service mode yet on the F-Pace I could just quickly get in the car load up and go.
When you do eventually have to move to Windows 10, as windows 7 will not receive any new security updates existing ones may still be downloaded, you will be better to do a clean install and not try an upgrade the upgrade failed twice in the end I set up a test machine and upgraded that and it left SDD in an awful state.

Has anyone gotten SDD to work on Windows 10 32 bit? I got it to run on 64bit but the the VXDIAG driver doesnt' support windows 10 64bit. So I tried using it on a new Windows 10 32 bit version and am getting an error about the side by side configuration is incorrect. I also have to run it in administrator mode. Weird. I am using SDD 1.59.
Have you tried using compatibility mode to install it?
win10 Compatibility Mode
I have had some luck with this.

The side by side error is caused by the VisualC++ installation missing or not properly installed, this happens when installing older application on Windows 10. I found on the internet a complete VisualC+ install with all the versions used that and all worked OK.
