Hi

Would anyone know of a service shop (or just someone) that would remove an airbag from a steering wheel so the steering wheel can be flown out of Japan?
I'd pay in advance, and I don't care about the airbag.

Would this be for an 08 XJR? You don't mention anything about the car at all, I'm not sure how we're supposed to help.

 

Reading my post again I can see that it is not very clear that the issue is I need someone in Japan to do it for me. (I am in Europe. And because of the airbag it is not possible to ship the steering wheel.)
The procedure itself is not the issue, the geographic location is. I.e. I need someone with a screwdriver and an address in Japan.

 

Still not clear what Jaguar model you need help with, but I would recommend posting in the General Forums, Regional Section, then Other Areas.

traffic in those forums seems pretty low, that's why i didn't post there initially;

Well that was what I wanted to avoid. I.e. I needed help with the "Japan" part of the problem, not specifically with x350. 😁

But it's heading in the right direction already. I got a contact in Japan already who agreed to do the job.
