Hello, I am new to this forum and am thinking a buying a XK120. The seller sent me a video of the engine running. To me there is some surging or a miss in the engine, particularly in the last few seconds of the video. Can anyone tell me what they think about the engine sound or is this normal.

Sounds NORMAL to me for an XK Engine that is COLD Started and slowly warming up, and needs slightly less choke, but he is outside the car, so its sounds "roughish".

Slightly "tappetty", but again NORMAL to my ears.

Started "on the button", BONUS.

 

Thanks Grant, I have purchased the car, so when I get it (it's in NC and I'm in Oregon) I'll probably have more questions.
