Default Range Rover seatbelt warning stopped

How do I reactivate the seatbelt warning bell. It stopped sounding?

Welcome to the forum joealas,

This is a Jaguar (and not a JLR) forum but some members also run Range Rovers and may be able to help you.

If it is like other Ford products (you don't state what year your Rover is), try turning the car on to the RUN position (do not start the car) and then buckle and unbuckle the seat belt 5 times in quick susession. That should cause the computer to re-enable the seat belt reminder.

What year Range Rover? Which model?

My 2008 Land Rover Freelander uses a slightly different method to turn off the beltminder

1) Insert the key fob
2) Press and HOLD the start button without your foot on the clutch (manual) or brake (auto) for about 2-3 seconds
3) Insert and remove the seat belt 9 times - a chime will sound on the 9th attempt
4) Seat belt warning is disabled

No idea if it will work, but all the Ford family cars use a similar method.
