Re-programming computer
I have a 1999 Vanden plas. I want to hack/re-program the computer to prevent it from putting the motor into 'limp mode'. I don't mind seeing the display on the instrument cluster indicating 'reduced performance' but I don't want the computer to actually effect the performance. I have had several 'mystery' interventions by the computer and, by the time I limp to my mechanic, he can't tell what the problem was because the computer has no memory. I trust myself to monitor engine health and don't want the 'limp' feature. How hard would it be to get rid of it???
Thanks
Thanks
