Default Residue wont wash off help any ideas

I have a 2001 stype 3.0 and my husband put washfluid that was orange I used it and it foamed up and now the residue wont wash off the paint or my windshield. If I pump it out and flush it with a water hose will this get it out of the reservoir?

ORANGE - did he put coolant in the washer reservoir?

You could use a garden hose at low pressure into the neck of the reservoir and let it overflow until it runs clear to speed up the process of cleaning the reservoir contents and then use the wash button to empty the hoses from the reservoir to the jets.

It sounds like the paint could be a bigger problem if this "orange" fluid is compromising the clearcoat.
