Not sure if this will be allowed...

Looking at purchasing my first Jag. Will be either a X type or an S type.. Will be an automatic diesel. Will tow a caravan at times but also be my daily.

What are people's thoughts on which way to go S or X?

Personally I would go with the S type for towing

 

But beware the 2.7D car has a whole host of problems the other S-Types don't have, not least engine failure.

 

No reason not to allow it.

If you'd said petrol, I'd have definitely said S-Type. Your preference for diesel would reverse that choice for me towards the X-Type.
