Default Satellite radio

my jag has the advertising on display panel for sirius radio but no ID code and when my VIN is looked up it states my vehicle is not set up for it. the manual covers the use of sirius radio and it shows on the display. What do i need to do to activate it? Thank you in advance for any suggestions

I don't know where the module is on your car but this should help you get started. This post applies to the XK but the concept is the same:

OK, a few questions. The LED's in the Alpines are very robust. I originally thought mine were out and I was set on replacing them. There is an electrical connection on the stereo that tells the unit if it's daylight or night with the headlights switched on. Illumination is red/green on the plug. This must get a grounded signal when the headlights are on. If it's grounded with the headlights off it will be dimm all of the time, you want it positive with the headlights off. If the LED's are out we can go into replacing the strip.
