Default Radio

Hello All,
Radio question? Got the batery charged up checking all the lights and switches. Radio indicates "CODE" on the screen. I found the Jag Radio code above the visor but I must not be entering it right or something.
What is it I must do? Crap, guess I should know what brand the radio is aye?
I'll be back unless this is simple.
Peace
Neil

Not sure what year you have but if it's from '87 to '91 or so you'll have the AJ8700 (Alpine Jaguar 8700) radio.

With the key on you just enter the 5 digits. If you goof up 3 times you have to wait 60 minutes or something like that before trying again.

Cheers

here is the page from the manual.. You just punch it in. My '87 has the same radio as your '89 so the instructions should work. But if you enter it wrong 3 times you have to leave it on for an hour before you can enter it again. (I just disconnected the battery). But the instructions tell you everything you need to know hopefully.

good luck :-)
