The original amplifier was broken. I bought a new one from Land Rover and following installation all functions from the entertainment system were restored except the sound.

I tried to program it using SDD version 160.02 v342, but go the below error message:


can anybody please help on how to fix this. I am tired of singing to myself while I am driving

Hi all I've changed the amp all the speaker and it's all wired in my 2012 xf it had the 600w jag system which was terrible, my mate changed the ccf to premium but I only have dolly and dts on the screen mediriam isn't showing in audio setting is there something els I need to do ? Or do I need the head unit from the same car thanks corn.

I'm in exactly the same situation.
I have no sound.



My amp is the model:
BJ32-19C164-AG

When I try to configure it, it finds the model:
BJ32-14C526-AG

I get the same error.

A failure occured....

So no sound.
Maybe one people have the vbf file?
For the model:
BJ32-19C164-AG

 

what year and system is in yours ?
my amp ends in BG not AG has you car got a sub as standard? If not you need to change the green plug for the higher grade amp

the system dates from 2013 / 2014 i believe the system in BG is the model above

My car is actually equipped with sub as standard.

I think my amp works but it's the update that can't install.

Is this plug fitted in the bottom left of the boot

 

You can't set up meridian in a face lift only bowers settings for the surround just so you know. Well we couldn't

To clarify the situation, I updated my sofware amp and got an error: my configuration hasn't been modified or changed, it's my original amp.

I'm trying to reconfigure it because it's no longer detected by my system.

 

Why update it ? It should never need up dating ? I just changed the amp to the mediriam one put the surround sound in changed the door speakers to meridian and changed the settings to premium. That was it. I know people who have played with changing the software and it bricks the amp. Il see if I can find more on it. Someone managed it to do but not sure if that was just luck. You do have battery supply running while using SDD ?

yes i have battery supply running while using SDD, the module is well recognized, but impossible to reconfigure.

I have try to rename DX23-14C526-BA.vbf to BJ32-14C526-AG and start the update i have an error too, if you have another idea
