Thank you for the detailed instructions because I can NEVER find anything in SDD! Now I have SDD V159.X so it might be in a different place.
Well done!

I have asked this question a couple times on this forum, and not only could I not believe that "a major motor manufacturer doesn't have a procedure within its diagnostic software for assisting the bleeding of the ABS block". I couldn't believe that the "Jag Techs" on this forum didn't know either. Well after doing some research, I figured it out. Jaguar did have it in their software, just not in plain sight.
I tried the following on SDD v125 and v131. It should work the same on the other versions as well. This is from v131
Start the SDD/IDS program
1. Select Diagnosis
2. Selected Symptoms
3. Chassis
4. Braking System
5. General Braking System Symptoms
6. Brake Pedal Feels Spongy
7. Continue
8. Recommendations
9. Complete Vehicle Data-Logger
10. Run
11. Brake System
12. ABS Output control-Hydraulic Pump Motor

I have both 131 and 159 and although 159 is more comprehensive, as far as my 2103 Range Rover is concerned, it is just about as .......intuitive.
Having said that I used 159 successfully once and then a week later it came up with a message that my status file is out of date and it will not run until it is updated.
The seller was not much help at all. I will have to go thru the reload process all over again. I ran the "patch" on installation and that is supposed to "freeze" the program but apparently it did not.
So this time after running the patch I will run the actual freeze program.
I have posted before that I am still getting updates with V159. I attempted to freeze the date so no more updates but I messed up the "Deep Freeze" installation.
I now have a BAT file from another member of this forum that resets the date every time the system is booted. I plan to try that so I don't get the nag screens to update.
Of course I am not exactly sure WHAT date it should be set to either?
Have you tried to just update the status file? It might work. I just kept saying yes until it finally stopped updating. It's been off line for several weeks and I expect to see more updates available when I turn it back on.
I have a patch file too?

I have version 125.3 for my 07 XK. I wish I had that batch file as I sometimes forget to set the date so it doesn't look for updates. Anyway, I set my date to 4/1/2011, and never connect to the internet.

I tried to update the status file however it asked me to login on-line which I can not do.
I will have a go at reloading the whole shebang again and also use Freeze which I did not do last time on v159.
A royal pita.
Oh I use August 2012 for v131 and July 2020 for v159 since the load files have that date.
Apologies for coming to the party late. I had the X351, with brembos. Replaced pads and replaced the brake fluid on many occasions. Bleeding the brakes is as per the manual. Start with the rear brakes, make your way forward. There was no need to hook up to SDD.
Oi
I got air in my 2000 s type due to a very bad mech that installed a new master cylinder without bleeding it. He tried to bleed the ABS module by pumping on the brake pedal then disconnecting the hose from the abs module. The car went a little bit better but even like that there was an issue. I went to a jag specialist (working a lot with ford era jag) in Paris, and he told me that i don't need to use a diag tool to bleed the abs, i just have to bleed it like a normal bleed, and he didn't want to do it because it can be done anywhere. So i went to a "Autozone" like store (in France it's called Norauto) I paid 46€ for a normal bleed and i got a nice hard brake pedal. A way harder than before replacing the Master cylinder when I used to do a proper air bleed myself. So, try to go to a workshop with a big air bleeder . I'm sure that you don't need anything special for bleeding the abs pump.
