Default Tire rotation

The previous owner of my 1997 XK8 convertible, in the early 2000’s, put supercharger wheels on it of the same diameter, for all 4 wheels. I believe the stock wheels were larger on the back making rotation pretty simple. Does anyone have knowledge or suggestions on tire rotation when all four are the same size? Thanks. My Jag is not supercharged.

drk1074, when you have 4 tires that are the same height and width on a car, it is standard practice to rotate the tires such that the fronts go to the rear, the rears to the front, keeping the tires on the same side of the car. The idea behind this is that if you have a tire seeing more weight, the other corner on the same side will see less weight. Over time, the amount of wear on the tire will even out. the same is true for the wear when it comes to normal driving and braking. Now, doing burnouts throws all this out the window.

Thanks for the info. That makes sense, so I believe that is what I will do.
