I have an 89 Vanden Plas which I have just recently "upgraded" with an newer set of stock Jaguar wheels I got from the junk yard. They are 16" wheels that are mostly solid aluminum with a simple pattern carved out and about 6 to 8 holes....thinking they are 1994 vintage or so.

Anyway, I'm guessing they are a 16 x 7 inch wheel and they currently have a 225x60x16 tire on them which seem to fit them pretty well. I was just curious what you guys thought would be the widest tire I could put on these wheels. Just trying to get a bit more of a sporty look.

 

Has anyone run a tire size larger than a 225x60x16 on the stock 16"x7" jaguar rims?
