Default using an iPhone with Jaguar Bluetooth

I have managed to pair the iphone with the car, but I cant get the car to download the phonebook from the phone. I have tried the ##2#*# command but nothing seems to happen. Has anyone managed to do this?
Cheers

Welcome to the forum Davburs,

Telephones in Blaydon - wonders never cease!

Jaguar BlueTooth is a pain. Only able to pair one phone at a time and a restricted number of compatible phones. That being said, once setup, it works well.

Have you checked the setup instructions for your specific vehicle and phone at Jaguar BT Connectivity Centre?

Jaguar UK - Bluetooth Connectivity

This is more detailed than the generic handbook with the vehicle.

I've looked though the iPhone 4 section for your vehicle and it does include the caveat 'address book download dependent on model'.

According to Jaguar Connectivity Centre, the iPhone 4 is compatible with your vehicle installation for the following functions only:

Address Book is not included. As this is listed against other compatible phones where it can be downloaded, the only conclusion is that phone book download is not possible with iPhone4.

As the iPhone 4s isn't even listed, it's fortunate that this even works.
