What is the latest Nav upgrade from Jaguar for the nav system ? I bought one from JLR like 4-5 years ago and if I recall it was like $200 or something like that. . I haven't seen anything since. It just came in like on old school looking DVD case and was a thumb drive inside that you plug into the glove box ports. I’d be grateful if someone Could provide that or point me towards the thread if someone already has posted it. TY

 

System is dead and obsolete. Updates stopped around 2020 or so for my 2014 XJR. Another feature Jaguar has totally screwed up. There are no more updates and as time goes on the system gets more and more out of date as new roads are added. This is a sign of the future as everything gets more software driven.

Remember it's not a "bug" it's a feature! You need to trash everything you own every couple of years so you can purchase some new stuff and wait for that to become obsolete in a few years. It's a great system! Just NOT for the consumer.

well i am swapping to the 10" screen with apple carplay. just ordered the parts and verified I already have the proper system already so the hell with it. Carplay here I come baby FINALLY !!

 

Yes that is the way forward. I also installed an Android large tablet to replace the factory 8" head unit. Then pretty much everything is available. Just no way to keep the OEM stuff current and up to date after a few years go by.
