One of the unknown vehicle specifications questions that SDD version 131 asked is if I have a canister close valve Fitted or not fitted. Does a 2006S type R have a canister close valve fitted or not fitted? I’ve always answered it to be fitted but I’m not sure

 

Most likely the purge canister valve.
The purge canister is part of the evaporative emission control system (EVAP), see here: https://www.emanualonline.com/blog/w...er-purge-valve.
On a 2006 car you will have this system and valve for sure.
