Hi,
I'm working on a 99 xjr I just purchased. Car is in good shape, but fighting some evap system codes, primarily the p0447 (which is the canister close valve).

Being a 99, I have the LNC1515AA valve. This appears to have been discontinued by the fine folks at jaguar.

So, is there some superceded part number, or do I just have to try to get lucky with a used part?

The lack of parts availability is a touch scary.

sorry for the confusion, but I also tested the purge valve and it did not seemed to be operating properly. Hence the question.

 

To close this out, it seems like we are outta luck. As a result, I found the best condition used LNC1515AA I could find and will install that.

Scary though that parts availability is likely a problem for the earlier cars.

I suspect your purge valve may be quite similar, if not identical.
