Default What is/isn't covered by a 2010 Jaguar certified pre owned warantee?

I have run into an interesting situation where I have two Jaguar Dealers telling me that yes my 2010 XKR VIN is registered as covered under the Jaguar Certified Pre owned Warranty program, but neither of them has been able to email/link me to a document that describes WHAT is/isn't covered by said warranty.

I've also searched JaguarUSA.com and the the rest of the Web and can't find the information.

So, can anyone point me at the Jag CPO warranty documents, preferably circa 2012?
Thanks in advance
Jeff

Welcome to the forum Jeff,

I recall this question arising before. The CPO Warranty is a contract between the vehicle purchaser and the retailer - not directly with Jaguar USA. This will be why you cannot find a standardised contract document. If you did not purchase the CPO warranty, it is transferable but the precise terms will be those set by the retailer.

It varies depending on car, part, part avail and some things can be covered with prior auth. From select. It really depends on problem, but most things are included. Except trim, hoses, wear and tear, and expendable items, pads rotors etc. Just like most other ext warranty companies. But cpo also covers many service bulletins and does not have a inspection process that other ext warranty companies can use to exclude a covered item from poor maintenance, abuse etc
