Need help finding a minor part!!
Hey again everyone!
I hate to ask for so much help, but I really am stumped on this one.
The previous owner of my car clearly hit something small on the front drivers' side bumper - it was enough to minorly crack the headlamps, and the headlamp washer jet COVER is missing. I believe the part number is LNA7051AA, though it is such a minor part that nowhere lists it. I'm wondering if I'm just out of luck and have to rip them all off and cover the holes, or maybe if someone here knows a way I could buy one? I believe the XJ8 have the same ones. Either way, they are part of the weather package and I'm Canadian so you bet everyone here has them, but of course no one has a spare!
I'll attach a picture to keep you all from scratching your heads; the washer jet appears to be intact, but is just missing the cover. If I have to I could order the whole unit but I think that would be rather pricey. Thanks!

Hi Malihide,
The Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) confirms that the part is only available as an assembly - the cover is not available separately. The part numbers for the assemblies are:
Left hand: LNA7051AA
Right hand: LNA7050AA
Searching the LH part number at online Jaguar parts dealers:
jaguarmerriamparts.com (Merriam, KS) lists them as available at USD $93.46.
gaudinjaguarparts.com (Las Vegas, NV) lists them as available at $93.84.
If David at EverydayXJ.com doesn't have it, your best bet might be a good salvaged unit. eBay is a good place to find sellers who are parting out cars similar to yours.
Cheers,
Don

Malihide,
I made the mistake of taking Queenie through a car wash, and had my passenger side unit sheared off and destroyed. I replaced it through Gaudin for a total of $102.09, including shipping. David at everydayxj was good enough to receive it and pass it along to me with some parts and I had ordered from him. (Gaudin won't ship to Canada.)
The very good news: this unit does not require full bumper removal. Just remove the two bolts from below and pull the bumper out slightly in order to remove and reconnect the fittings. In place of screws, it has "Christmas Tree-like" posts which secure the unit very well.
Happy Hunting!
