Let me try on this page.
I have a 2009 XF. THe steering wheel is showing some wear and I've recently bought a new wheel. It was listed as a 2008, listed it was a swap for 2007-2012 XF. Was a great price and in great condition. It's actually a 2012 wheel, so was listed wrong anyway.
The airbag from mine is the same as the 2012 so that will swap. The inside mounting and plugs are identical to pictures of a 2009 wheel.
The only difference visible is the back of wheel. THe photo of my existing wheel shows metal flange around the mounting hole. THe new one has a plastic flange, definitely different.
Lastly, even though the plug is the same, I know Jaguar has done this before with other new pieces. Plug same, pins in different locations. I found out when I changed to the facelift tail lights. I did figure out that, but I have no idea with the steering wheel and my mechanic says he can't know until he tries, either way I'd have to pay him!!!
Anyone have any definitive answer for me??
