As I was pushing down the motorway earlier today I got the first performance issue since I bought the car 6 months ago. It's a 2016 XJ 3.0D 300PS engine with 54k miles.

I carried on driving for another 30 miles, parked the car, went shopping and when I returned to the car about 45 minutes later, the message was gone and the car performance was back to normal.

I'm no mechanic but when I got home, I plugged SDD in and I found two DTCs:

• P259B-71 Turbocharger boost control position sensor B performance - Stuck High (actuator is stuck)
• P004B-77 Turbo/supercharger boost control solenoid B - circuit range/performance (commanded position not reachable)

I'd appreciate your expert opinion and whether it's something that I can "fix" to prevent this from happening again. Can I repair the solenoid/actuator, replace it without going down the turbo route?

Also, what could be the cause of this? Not sure if related, but I normally use standard diesel, and I have recently filled my car with premium diesel and the last two occasions.
