Unhappy XK8 1997 to 2000 radio conversion

The 1997 XK8 that I bought had a factory original radio ( Model AJ9500A /Part No. DBC10427) dead on arrival when I purchased the vehicle a few months ago. Fuses are all OK and told by mechanic that the power positive lead is hot, so there is some sort of radio internal short. I am interested in substituting a more modern XK8 factory radio (2000-2002 model year), which does fit into the same enclosure as my radio. Conversion of center console bezel is not the issue, but trying to find electrical connector patch is the problem. Original radio has one rectangular connector, two circular connectors, antenna connector and ground post/screw. Newer radio has only two large rectangular connectors plus the antenna.

Can any of our X100 forum members who are electrically-inclined point me in the right direction for obtaining the patch solution? I cannot read electrical diagrams, so this solution has to be provided by others as "plug and play".
Thanks for your response...Carl's audio-deficient cool car.
